The call
The questions clients ask are rarely the questions in textbooks. They arrive with a specific set of assets, a specific set of relatives, and a specific worry. We want the pair as it happened: the question in the client's own framing, and the answer the advisor gave, including the caveats and the follow-up questions the advisor asked back.
Pairs may be reconstructed from meeting notes or email threads. Where the advisor's answer was later revised, include the revision as a second answer.
What qualifies
- Questions from real client engagements, reconstructed or verbatim
- Answers written by a licensed or credentialed advisor in the relevant jurisdiction
- Jurisdiction stated per pair
What is excluded
- Generic FAQ content
- Pairs where the client could be identified from the facts described
- Answers copied from published guidance
De-identification
Remove names, locations below country level, and exact asset values. Family structures may be described by role.
Review
Sampled review by a trusts and estates practitioner. Pairs are checked for jurisdictional accuracy and for de-identification.
Rights
Full license transferred to Gridfile at acceptance. Contributor warrants authorship of the answer and the right to reproduce the question in de-identified form.
