The call
Litigators build timelines to think. The chronology on its own is a list of dates; the annotations are the judgment. We are acquiring timelines from concluded matters, with the annotations, paid by the hour of accepted work because the work of annotating is the value.
Contributors log hours per timeline. Hours are accepted after review of the annotations' depth.
What qualifies
- Timelines from concluded matters, any civil or commercial area
- Annotations of at least one sentence on a majority of entries
- Prepared by the contributor as counsel or paralegal on the matter
What is excluded
- Matters under seal or subject to a protective order
- Criminal matters
- Timelines without annotations
De-identification
Party, witness and counsel names replaced with role labels. Court and jurisdiction may stay.
Review
Read by a litigator. Hours are accepted in full, in part, or returned with a reason.
Rights
Full license transferred to Gridfile at acceptance. Firm agreement required.
